Every birthday is not complete without cake. For my birthday sessions, I welcome cake at any age. This session was no exception. I had not seen little M since she her older sister turned 5. That session was done about 4 years ago, so she was just a little over 1 year old. Mom said she was going to be very shy, and she was… for a few minutes. She soon perked up and was acting like every 5 year old I’ve photographed, spunky and giggly.
She was SO ready to get into that cupcake. So she didn’t really do a whole lot of smashing and getting messy with her cupcake, but she did dig in with a nice, big bite! Purple frosting all over and she loved it! Mom & I got a kick out it also. We just made sure that she didn’t wipe or drop any on her dress.
