She really wasn&#8217;t into sitting still, and honestly, aren&#8217;t all 1 year olds that way? Although she wasn&#8217;t walking quite yet, she was definitely moving fast! But we were able to keep her one spot with a few tricks. When it came time for cake, she passed right by it with no interest. This actually happens a lot. I&#8217;ve only had a handful of kids ran right up to it and dug in. So, we helped &#8220;S&#8221; with giving her a small taste and sure enough, after small finger licks came the handfuls of cake!
