\nEvery year my kids (I have 3 kids, ages 9yrs, 5 yrs, & 3yrs) love to watch caterpillars transform into butterflies. It’s about a 3-4 \u00a0week process and when they are ready, we then release them into our garden or a park. We look forward to doing this every year!<\/p>\n
A few years ago, we invited friends to join us. Each family received their own butterfly garden\/pavilion & caterpillars. We bought them all at the same time (one big\u00a0order by me) so that they would all develop and be ready to release at the same time.<\/p>\n
Each family took\u00a0their caterpillars home to watch the daily transformation and then we met for the release once all the butterflies were ready.\u00a0We drew quite a crowd at the park as we released around 50 butterflies at City Beach. The kids loved that some of the butterflies stuck around for the kids to hold them. Everyone had their cameras out – it was such a fun event for all of us!<\/p>\n

Currently, the planning\/organization of this event is on Facebook<\/a>, and is the main location for RSVP’ing plus questions and answers. (this event is not a part of my business)<\/p>\n We have over 50 families participating so far, which means at least 250 butterflies will be released in June!
