I had 4 sessions this month. After a whole month of sitting, elevating & icing my ankle, I slowly & carefully made my way through the sessions. All of them were within 1 week. And I will admit, I was pretty sore when the week was over. But I was glad to be able to get back behind the camera, laugh with the parents, act silly with the kids and for this particular session, I got to snuggle with a newborn. Her parents just moved to our little town last month. We had scheduled her session months ago. She did come a little early, but I am so glad that it wasn’t too early or else I would have had to cancel the session due to my injury. Her timing was perfect and she was perfect.<\/p>\n

She was wide awake (this is a trend lately) through most of the session. Didn’t cry though, she was content to just look around and check out the lights. We marveled and gave her googly eyes as we waited for her to fall asleep. And as soon as she did fall asleep, nothing was able to wake her. She was out. And so mom & I were able to get quite a variety of poses. She was still fast asleep when we finished, I felt bad having to wake her up. But alas, it was time for her to go home so mommy could get some rest right alongside her.<\/p>\n
