Good morning everyone. I want to start off by apologizing for all the delays and my forgetfulness in these last few weeks. As you may have seen in a post on my Facebook page, my husband’s deployment has recently taken place. His departure date had changed so many times in the last few weeks. And then in the final days, it was moved twice. Because of that, I was unable to really stay on my normal working schedule since my mind was filled with so many other things.<\/p>\n
We were scrambling to get things done before he left, like putting up the Christmas lights on the house (rooftop), preparing a pre-Thanksgiving meal, taking the kids out together a few more times, cleaning out the garage, buying supplies for the season (windstorms and power outages usually happen this time of year) and of course,celebrating my [now] 7 year old’s birthday, trying to fit in time for the two of us together all while me not being able to tell anyone what was going on.<\/p>\n
If you are wondering why I couldn’t say anything, it has to do with OPSEC, Operational Security. It is vital to keep our military personnel safe at all times. With that, certain information about military travel, work details & more are not allowed to be shared. So, in order to keep my husband and the rest of his team from even a remote chance of harm, I do what I always do – keep it all to myself. Now that he is safe in his final destination, I can share with you about the recent craziness in my home. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n
