    After serving Oak Harbor since 2006, I have closed my doors officially. I am still on Whidbey Island, but no longer offering photography services or learning classes on a regular basis. I am only offering Preschool Portraits for Ms. Ashley's Preschool in the spring.

    Past clients may be able to purchase digital images from their past sessions if they are still available on my archive drives. Contact me for more info.

    If you are a photographer inquiring about the possible purchase of my props and/or backdrops, many of my items are listed on Facebook Marketplace. Feel free to contact me for direct links or to inquire about anything you see in y portraits that you are interested in to see if they are available.

As everyone can tell, the blog has been restored! And because I am so grateful for it not being “gone with the wind” I’ve decided to add a new incentive to the blog.

March 14, 2009 from 11am – 5:00pm

No appointment necessary! Come in by yourself or with a friend for a quick 15 minute session and a chance to win up to 3 times, a National Prize, City Prize & Studio Prize!

  • Session Fee: $15 per child
  • Ages accepted: 18 months through 14 years old.
  • Each session includes: one entry into the national gallery (sandypucvotes.com), a complimentary 4×5 of the entry, private online proof gallery and no obligation to buy!

“B” came along with his little brother who we thought was going to be most cooperative little model. But instead, “B” was the one who wanted to smile with his “cheese and banana peel” saying! The middle one is the contest entry.

Open House canceled

I just returned home from Urgent Care with my eldest son. He has been sick for the last two days and tonight we found out that he has strep throat. And as per my policies, if one person in my household is sick, I will have to reschedule sessions that are to take place within 3 days. I do this for a few reasons, but the main & most important reason is to be able to get rid of the virus within my home. I do not feel comfortable having other children in my home when mine are ill and especially contagious.

I will reschedule the Open House as soon as possible and will post about the new date here on the blog. Thank you for your understanding.

Little “V” came in for a model session and she had so much fun dressing up! I was only going to show one, but I just loved her joyful nature and chose 3 instead! The last image is the one that will be entered into the national gallery.
