  • We are Permanently Closed

After serving Oak Harbor since 2006, I have closed my doors officially. I am still on Whidbey Island, but no longer offering photography services or learning classes on a regular basis. I am only offering Preschool Portraits for Ms. Ashley's Preschool in the spring.

Past clients may be able to purchase digital images from their past sessions if they are still available on my archive drives. Contact me for more info.

If you are a photographer inquiring about the possible purchase of my props and/or backdrops, many of my items are listed on Facebook Marketplace. Feel free to contact me for direct links or to inquire about anything you see in y portraits that you are interested in to see if they are available.

Thank you for trusting me with your family portraits since 2006. I loved working with you all.

    Renee

The Fall Set

I know we are a little late… sorry. But we have been extremely busy. But here’s our fall set. Many thanks to Brayden for running over in his costume for quick shots! He was a lifesaver since my youngest was the most willing of my three, but still had no desire to take any (shown below Brayden).

So, if you would like to get some fall portraits of your child(ren), give me a call! We will do a quick 15-minute session in costume and/or fall attire for $10. You’ll get about 4-8 proofs to choose from & 15% off your order with no minimum order amount required.

Offer good until November 11th, 2008.

Amber - These are awesome.. U should do something like this for a Christmas type winter pics or something… 🙂 Good job

Always Learning…

As most of you know, I take pride in my work and am always learning. I want to stand out and be different among other photographers and your standard studios. Quality is important! I truly care about how your portraits look on your walls, and take my time behind the camera and in front of the computer to capture & edit your portraits.

Well, last Saturday I attended a workshop to learn new techniques and better my skills with lighting. It was a full 8 hours of learning and I enjoyed every minute of it. Some things I already knew and some things were made clear since I’ve done most of my learning through online workshops and books. And believe it or not, I’ve already got other workshops in line for attendance.

I am excited to use these new techniques in addition to some of my own favorites to give you the best portraits possible for you and you family! This is what makes custom photography worth paying for! This isn’t a hobby, it’s a profession, in which includes education and refining. I truly love what I do and I want to make sure your memories and moments are above and beyond a snapshot.

Oh-so-cute Ava

Ava is an adorable 9 month old who was eager to explore. But a wicker chair and mom’s singing was the trick to keep her attentive and smiling! So, kudos to mom! This was another tough one to filter through… so many cute expressions!

New Info for “A Little Addition” (in blue)

Special thanks to Ceal Kight, the Maternity Support Nurse at the Sea Plane Base for mentioning mom/babies with special care that may not be home within the first 4 weeks after birth. It is still best to bring in your baby as soon as possible after birth, but understanding there are special circumstances sometimes, I have changed a few things.

All my children were born at Navy Hospital Oak Harbor. And after my last was born in April (of this year), I noticed that there were no portraits offered. So, because of this, I have decided to offer all parents of newborns born at NHOH a free mini-session. This session is limited to only one outfit & no family portrait. But includes:

  • 30 minute in-studio session
  • 10-15 proofs to choose from
  • birth announcement options
  • package options
  • referral credits ($60)

Requirements for this session are:

  • Baby Must be born at Naval Hospital Oak Harbor
  • A COPY of the Naval Hospital Oak Harbor Birth Certificate must be sent in as your deposit to prove your baby was born at NHOH and to hold your session date.
  • Must bring in baby within 4 weeks of birth or the day baby is brought home.
For moms/babies referred from NHOH to affiliated hospitals for special medical care/high risk:
  • Please provide copy of your referral paperwork from NHOH (with Social’s blacked out for privacy).
  • Must bring in baby within 4 weeks of returning home.
  • If you have special circumstances which are not mentioned, please contact me for further information.
First come, first serve. Please note that I will do my best to fit you in on weekends, but sessions may most likely take place during the weekdays. Space may be limited, please do not wait.
This is NOT a limited offer, I plan to offer this as long as I can. Please contact me if you have any questions or concerns.
