Not quite. He’s 9 months old and just getting the hang of speed crawling and cruising along furniture. But I am sure if he will be walking pretty strongly at his next session. Can’t believe how much he has grown. And each time, his smile gets bigger and bigger. This time we got to see some teeth! He’s so cute! This year is flying by quickly. So quickly that I am beginning to forget which baby is what age. I look at them and think, “No, he can’t be six months old already, he was just here for a newborn session, wasn’t he?” But alas, all these little baby planners are growing quickly. I love to see what new milestone they have hit when they come in. Little P had not quite mastered sitting up on his own yet. So, we kept him comfy in a bean bag for the beginning and then used mommy’s legs for a little support to get him in a different position. By the end, he was getting a hang of it, but not quite strong enough yet. I’m sure when he comes back for his nine month portraits, he will not only sitting up on his own, but maybe even crawling away. Can’t wait to see him and his sister again soon!
When not busy with my niece’s wedding, I was teaching oil classes. Those are always a lot of fun. Love meeting new people, catching up with old friends, family and sharing how my family’s lives have been changed with essential oils. On our last day, we took my kids to Knott’s Berry Farm (it’s our favorite place on earth). Due to it being the first day of school for a lot of the kids in the southern California counties, Knott’s was pretty empty which allowed us to get on runs multiple times. We then met with my niece sand her husband for a yummy dinner at Knott’s Chicken Dinner Restaurant. (YUM) After that, we headed back into the park for more rides. We had a blast!
Now that we are back, I’m already getting things rolling with proofs. I’m currently working on proofs from the sessions of the two little guys images shown in this post. Aren’t they just the cutest littles guys ever? They are both on my Inch By Inch (Baby’s First Year) Plan. So, we will continue seeing them every three months until their 1st birthday. Fun!
For those of you wondering about whether or not we will be staying here or not. We are not sure yet, we are still waiting on orders. All plans are the same for now, I will be closing on March 31st, 2015. My schedule has filled up quite quickly. August is overbooked and September’s schedule will be opening soon. I will be offering school portraits, that info will be up soon. Right now I need to concentrate on catching up with current work before I add to my schedule.

As most of you know, I have my “for me” photos throughout my home. They are a mix of images of flowers, bugs, insects, etc. These images are taken when I am out and about with my kids or in my own backyard. I have been asked about selling them for the last few years. I honestly never thought they were worthy of being sold in that way. But I’ve been asked about them again the last few months and so I decided to go ahead and make a gallery for them. I will continue to add images as I take them, but there are a few in there right now. The categories are Wildlife, Floral & Miscellaneous.

In the midst of all my computer headaches, I realized that my older computer had images on it that were already color calibrated. So, I decided to set it back up, plug it in and turn it to see what I could do. I had a few commercial clients whose images were waiting there along with this little guy. I did his session in June, before I took a break to get ready for summer and a trip to Utah.
I was able to get these done today. Yay! So, here’s a sneak peek. But, mom and dad will be happy to know that these images will all be in a gallery by tomorrow evening! So sorry for the delay! To see one more image from this session, click HERE to view it on my Facebook page.
